Classes & Fees
Classes
Classes are offered in all disciplines of dance from Beginner to Advanced levels. It is highly recommended that once students reach Beginner / Junior level that they participate in a minimum of two classes per week, one of which should be Ballet, in order to maintain and advance in that level.
Parents & Tots
This class is offered to toddlers (aged 18months to 3yrs of age) and their Parents, providing them with the opportunity to experience dance in a fun, positive and creative format. Toddlers learn to express themselves through movement, and develop strength and flexibility with the security of their parents being there to assist. All movement and dance is based on concrete ideas that the children can relate to, incorporating props that will capture the child’s imagination. Parents are urged to participate in their child’s’ learning experience in class.
Pre-Ballet/Tap or Pre-Ballet/Jazz
Got a mover or shaker in the family? Pre-ballet/tap or pre-ballet/jazz has been designed for dancers aged 3 to 5yrs of age. These classes assist children with the development of rhythm, motor skills, encourages creativity, coordination and musical appreciation. Providing a basic introduction in ballet, jazz and tap techniques, our little movers or shakers, will yearn for more!
Ballet
Ballet is offered to all dancers from Beginner to Advanced levels. In addition to Classical Ballet, CSTD training (Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance), these classes develop poise, grace, correct body placement, and alignment. Requirements for level progression vary according to student development. Exams will be offered in the CSTD syllabus.
Tap
For those loving the sound of a beat and want to feel the movement through their feet, tap is for you. This class assists in the development of coordination, concentration, rhythm and speed. Students will progress according to their development in this class. Exams will also be offered in the CSTD syllabus for tap although this class will also incorporate the NY ‘hoofing’ style of tap.
Contemporary / Modern
This class is primarily offered to students who have reached the Beginner / Junior level of ballet training. These classes are developed to promote flexibility and strength of the body, as well as introducing the contemporary / modern techniques of Martha Graham, Lester Horton, and Jose Limon.
Jazz
From Beginners to Advanced levels, these classes are fast paced, energetic, and full of techniques to develop strength, flexibility, and coordination. Dancers are exposed to various styles of jazz using modern mainstream music to inspire and motivate dancers.
Funk
If you love hip-hop dancing than Funk is the class for you. Full of fun, fast movements, this class tests your endurance, challenges your coordination and puts the student through their paces with choreography that is tricky yet "sassy". You’ll feel the music penetrate through your body which helps encourage your feet to move. Funk gives students the ability to express themselves with movements they can mould, allowing them to develop their own style.
Acrobatics / Gymnastics
Always finding yourself upside down, on your hands instead of your feet? Acro may just be the answer. This class assists in the students flexibility and coordination as well as allows the student to develop in the world of tumbling!

Work-Study Program
Addicted 2 Dance is dedicated to providing our youth with positive and educational experiences and are proud to host a program by which those dancers that qualify are able to participate in ‘work-study’ in exchange for class tuition. Work-study is offered to mature and responsible dancers in the Intermediate / Senior levels who attend a minimum of 4 dance classes per week and demonstrate a commitment to dance and to the studio.
